Urban design: ConnectedCities new book on ‘Planning for Prosperity’

“The concept behind ConnectedCities is inspired by Ebenezer Howard’s Social City.”

ConnectedCities is “a non-partisan initiative which proposes a global sustainable development strategy, which can accommodate sustainably all predicted population growth far into the future.”

The CC team, led by Brian Q. Love, has just launched an outstanding book of guidance toward such a strategy via the Creative Commons Attribution:

A global Sustainable Development Strategy, Planning for Prosperity

It is a very good read, with all 131 pages clearly written and illustrated as you would expect from an architectural and urban planning team.

Available from here for viewing freely online, download via PDF or Kindle/eBook @ £2.72 or to purchase in paperback for £12.00; also via issuu; or any good bookseller such as David’s Bookshops.
