Transition Tuesday by Transition Town Letchworth:
What Climate Repair Lessons can we Learn from the COVID-19 crisis?
12th May 2020 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm, online via Zoom.
Can changes that have been introduced to tackle COVID-19 provide a stepping-stone to building a more resilient society/community?
Join us as we consider how changes implemented to tackle the current crisis will affect climate change, and look to the future by identifying where TTL should focus its efforts when we come out of lockdown.
For example, should we focus less on raising awareness on the existence of climate change and more on delivering local exemplary projects? If we do, what projects can we effectively deliver? You may find it useful to read our latest blog post before you join the meeting:
This shares some climate related reflections on our changing world and ideas for projects that TTL could consider delivering going forward.
